Long-Term Volunteers
For those looking to deeply engage with our mission and help shape the future of the organization. These roles provide rewarding opportunities for networking and leadership.
- Workgroup Members: Collaborate on ongoing initiatives, develop industry resources, and guide our strategic goals throughout the year. This is where every long-term volunteer starts.
- Growing into Leadership: Most of our workgroup chairs and co-chairs began as members and stepped up over time. As you get to know a group and its work, opportunities to facilitate discussions and help steer its direction naturally open up. There's no need to lead on day one.
Short-Term Volunteers
If you have a busy schedule but still want to give back, these "micro-volunteering" opportunities are usually tied to specific events or localized needs.
- Event Support & Logistics: Help our events run smoothly by assisting with on-site setup, registration, and attendee guidance.
- Session & Speaker Support: Act as a room monitor, introduce speakers, or assist with scanning attendee badges for continuing education credits (CEUs).
- Photography & Promotion: Capture the energy of our events by serving as an event photographer, interviewing attendees for testimonials, or helping draft event recaps.
Skilled Volunteers

- Professional Expertise: Lend your day-to-day skills, such as project management, accounting, data analysis, or administrative strategy, to support our staff on targeted projects.
