2026 Central Maintenance Technologist School
The Maintenance Training and Certification Program provides the ability to raise and validate knowledge and skills required to successfully perform maintenance activities according to current professional standards. Each school consists of 3.5-days of instruction culminating in the opportunity for attendees to become certified by taking the Plant Maintenance Technologist Exam. The certification exam is scheduled via email after the in-person school has ended and is held at a separate 3rd testing site. am.

All course classes will be held at the McKimmon Center, 1101 Gorman St, Raleigh, North Carolina. Each grade/level (e.g., Collections II) will have specific “tracks” of sessions to attend throughout the morning and afternoon. Final class
schedules will be provided one week before school. Please note that NC One Water does NOT offer breakfast or dinner on any school days. Breaks will be
scheduled between instructors throughout each day.

Registration for a MT 1 - 4 course DOES include registration for the Plant Maintenance Technologist Exam. Exam Only registrations DO NOT include in-person training during school days - the email to schedule the exam will be sent after April 27th.

All students will receive a web link with the school presentations in PDF format sent one week before the school begins, and students may print them on their own if desired. Students will also receive a USB drive of the presentations on-site
at the school.
NC1W can provide a printed binder of class presentations IN ADVANCE for $150 per binder. Please note that binders are not a required part of
registration.

orders must be pre-purchased by March 9th, 2026.
