Wastewater Collection and Water Distribution Systems Workgroup

Purpose

The mission of the workgroup is to educate the NC One Water membership regarding issues dealing with the operation, maintenance, planning, and management of wastewater collection and water distribution systems. The workgroup is actively seeking new members, speakers, and panelists. Meetings are held every two months and feature a business update of workgroup activities followed by an educational topic with opportunity for CEUs.

The workgroup is most known for organizing water and sewer discussion topics at each bi-monthly workgroup meeting. Formal presentations or panels are given by those well-informed on the selected water or sewer topic.

The workgroup seeks nominations and selects winners for select awards including the Golden Manhole award and Collection and Distribution Systems of the Year.

We Need You!
Collection and distribution system operators are particularly encouraged to participate in our workgroup. Nonetheless, all interested parties are welcome! The workgroup is actively seeking new educational topics, speakers, and participants for panel discussions. Please contact the current chair or vice chair with any ideas.
