We accept cash, checks (made payable to NC AWWA-WEA), and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard & American Express). We do not accept purchase orders. We do not invoice – all payments must be received before registrations/applications/orders will be processed.
We cannot use one form of payment to “hold a space” until another form of payment is received, (i.e. you cannot fax a credit card payment to hold space in a seminar/class until a check is received in the mail).
NC One Water uses an electronic card-scanning system to track attendance. Continuing education credits cannot be reported unless you give the appropriate license/certification numbers to NC One Water. Please be sure to do BOTH of the following to insure the accurate reporting of your continuing education credits:
Submit your license numbers during registration using the registration form or online registration system.
Bring your certification card issued by the NCWTFOCB and/or the NCWPCSOCC to the event.
Certificates of Attendance for all events may be used to demonstrate CEU’s for Professional Growth Requirements for Certified Water Treatment Operators and Wastewater Operators, and PDHs for Professional Engineers. Each event will indicate the number of CEU’s available and for which licenses/certifications the event is approved.
Seminars: Participants who arrived on time and stay until the conclusion of a seminar will receive CEU’s and a Digital Certificate of Attendance. No partial credit will be awarded to attendees. Registered speakers may receive partial credit equal to the amount of time that they participate in the seminar. Speakers should talk with the NC One Water staff representative on-site at the seminar to receive their partial credit. Once all attendance is verified after the event, each attendee will have their certificate emailed to them.
Schools: Participants who successfully complete a school will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the school. For a definition of “Successful Completion” refer to the brochure for the school and class you are attending. Each participant must pick up their own certificate at the conclusion of the event. No certificates will be given out early or given to another individual. Certificates will be mailed to persons who successfully complete the school but are not present at the end to pick up their certificates.
Conferences: After the conference, staff will verify attendance and produce a CEU record for attendees. These records will be sent to each attendee who has received CEU’s at the conference approximately 4 weeks after the conference. Records will be emailed for attendees that provide an email address on file.
Duplicate Certificates for Schools, Seminars, and Conferences will be printed for a $15 fee. To request a duplicate certificate, complete the Request Form and submit with payment by clicking HERE. Duplicates may take up to five (5) business days to generate and they cannot be faxed. Virtual Seminar certificates will be emailed at the conclusion of the event to the email on file.

Early & On-site Registration Rates Early Registration deadlines vary by event. Please refer to the registration materials for each event for that event’s specific deadline. The cost to attend an event usually increases after the early registration deadline.
For all events, registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis of completed registration form and correct payment. Submitting your registration and payment before the early registration deadline does not guarantee you a space.
On-site registration is not available for all events, and registrations will only be accepted on-site if there is space available. Refer to an event’s registration materials to determine if on-site registration is a possibility.
Student Registration Type The Student Registration Type is intended for high school students and individuals enrolled full-time at a community college or university. A student registration rate is not available for all events. If a student rate is available, it will be included in the price list or on the registration form.
