This course is a part of the 2026 Central Collection and Distribution School
The objective of the school is to REVIEW
the basic concepts in the proper operation and maintenance of water
distribution and wastewater collection systems. The curriculum will provide
information that should be helpful in preparing a participant for the mandatory
certification exams in Water Distribution, Backflow, and Wastewater Collection.
This school includes courses for Water
Distribution (C, B, & A) & Shoring, Wastewater Collection (I, II, III,
and IV), Backflow Prevention/Cross-Connection Control, Meter Technician, and Basic Confined Space Entry Operation.

All course classes will be held at the Raleigh Water Field Operation, 3324 Lake Woodard Drive, Raleigh, North Carolina 27604. Final class schedules will be provided one week before school. Please note that breakfast and dinner are NOT provided by NC One Water on any of the school days. Breaks will be scheduled in between instructors throughout each day.
Registration for an NC One Water
School course does NOT include registration for the formal operator exam.

All students will receive a web link with the school presentations in PDF format sent one week before the school begins, and students may print them on their own if desired. Students will also receive a USB drive of the presentations on-site
at the school.
NC1W can provide a printed binder of class presentations IN ADVANCE for $150 per binder. Please note that binders are not a required part of
registration.

orders must be pre-purchased by February 9th, 2026.

Approved Wastewater Operators: This course is approved by the WPCSOCC for 25.0 continuing education hours (CEUs). Students who miss 20% or more of classes will not receive a Certificate of Completion. Course ID: CE11160012
