About the Public Education Workgroup

The Public Education Workgroup of NC One Water is here to support North Carolina families, teachers, and students in discovering the importance of clean water and how it connects to our daily lives, health, environment, and future.

We offer fun, educational, and free programs and resources that spark curiosity, build awareness, and inspire young minds to become tomorrow’s water protectors.

For K–12 Students

We believe learning about water should be exciting and hands-on! Our student programs are designed to encourage creativity, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving.

Model Water Tower Competition

Students work in teams to design and build working water towers using everyday materials. It’s a great way to learn about engineering, water systems, and teamwork.
