Collection & Distribution School

Collection & Distribution School

The NC One Water Collection & Distribution School Committee organizes three Collection & Distribution Schools each year. The objective of these schools is to REVIEW the basic concepts in the proper operation and maintenance of water distribution and wastewater collection systems. The curriculum will provide information that should be helpful in preparing a participant for the voluntary certification exam in Meter Technician and the mandatory certification exams in Water distribution, Backflow/Cross-Connection, and Wastewater Collection. Meter Tech, Backflow, and Shoring are offered at the Collection & Distribution Schools.

Vendor Show

NC One Water presents three exhibit opportunities at our Collection & Distribution Schools. At each of these schools, we host a Vendor Show on Thursday to give attendees an opportunity to meet with their fellow students, instructors and vendors. We invite vendors to display products targeted towards Collection System Operators, Distribution System Operators, Meter Technicians, and Backflow/Cross-Connection Operators. Spaces can be reserved for a fee of $250 (non-refundable) per Collection & Distribution School. Your space cannot be guaranteed until your fee and application have been received.
