2026 Coastal Collection and Distribution School
The objective of the school is to REVIEW
the basic concepts in the proper operation and maintenance of water
distribution and wastewater collection systems. The curriculum will provide
information that should be helpful in preparing a participant for the mandatory
certification exams in Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection.
This school includes courses for Water
Distribution (C, B, & A), Wastewater Collection (I, II, III,
and IV), Trenching/Shoring, and Basic Confined Space Entry Operation. Exclusive to this school, the coastal Basic Confined Space Entry Operation course features a confined space mobile trailer. Mock confined space entry exercises allows utility operators to apply their lecture training and practice proper procedures using real equipment and realistic environments.

All course classes will be held at the Coastal Carolina Community College. Each grade/level (e.g., Collections II) will have specific “tracks” of sessions to attend throughout
the morning and afternoon. Final class schedules will be provided one week before school. Please note that NC One Water does NOT offer breakfast on any school days, and dinner only on Wednesday at the Student Banquet. Breaks will be
scheduled between instructors throughout each day.
Registration for an NC One Water
School course does NOT include registration for the formal operator exam.

All students will receive a web link with the school presentations in PDF format sent one week before the school begins, and students may print them on their own if desired. Students will also receive a USB drive of the presentations on-site
at the school.
NC1W can provide a printed binder of class presentations IN ADVANCE for $150 per binder. Binders are ONLY available for Collection / Distribution Courses. Please note that binders are not a required part of
registration.
See the “Optional Presentation Binder Add-On” on the registration page when completing enrollment. Binder
orders must be pre-purchased by May 22nd, 2026.
After May 22nd Binders are non-refundable.

Refunds/Substitutions (click to expand)
May 22nd, 2026: Binder sales are no longer eligible for refunds.
June 12th, 2026: Online registration ends and registrations are no longer eligible for refunds.
Refunds using the original payment method are available if NC One Water is notified prior to the refund deadline. All refunds will be issued minus a $50 administrative fee. Refunds for event registrations may not be processed until the conclusion of the event. Where applicable, registrants may choose to apply the payment as
a credit towards another event or substitute a registrant if the request is made before the refund
deadline.
If the cancellation
is received after the deadline, no refund will be issued, but a substitute registrant may be requested. We accept substitutions up to the
start time of the event.
