Publications Workgroup

Purpose 

The main goal of the Publications Workgroup is to enhance communications to all NC One Water members and non-members through the NC Currents quarterly magazine.

The workgroup's establishment of themes, theme descriptions, and theme leaders for each quarterly issue of NC Currents magazine is key to the overall consistency and success of the publication. The Editorial Subgroup and its associated members are responsible for developing the review outline and schedule for each publication, providing editorial review following the established Style Guide in order to assure high quality material, coordinating with staff members in working with the NC Currents magazine publisher, and completing other related tasks.

Each NC Currents magazine issue has assigned Theme Leaders that are responsible for developing the Theme Description, soliciting authors to write articles and features that follow the Theme Description, coordinating with the committee liaison in the selection of the Facility Spotlight, and recommending NC One Water members for the Member Portraits section of the magazine.
