2026 Raleigh Water For People 5K & Virtual 5K

Join us for a morning of movement and impact! Water For People is a global non-profit working across Latin America, East Africa, and India to ensure everyone has access to reliable, safe water and sanitation services. In North Carolina, the Water For People committee operates as part of NC One Water, uniting our state's water professionals to support this vital global mission.

Following a record-breaking year with over 300 participants, the 2026 Raleigh race returns to the beautiful American Tobacco Trail. This flat, shaded course is perfect for beginners, seasoned runners, families, and pets alike. Whether you're running for a personal best or walking for a great cause, your participation helps bring clean water to communities around the world.

Race Day Timeline

• 8:00 AM: Day-of registration & packet pickup opens

• 8:40 AM: Day-of registration closes

• 9:00 AM: Race Start!

• 9:50 AM: Awards ceremony

• 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Post-race celebration (Location TBD) featuring food trucks and drink specials.

• Saturday, April 25 (8:00 AM – 8:40 AM): Race Site (Apex)

Important Details

• Virtual Option: Can’t make it to the Triangle? Join our Virtual 5K from anywhere!

• Parking: Carpooling is highly encouraged. Parking on White Oak Church Road is strictly prohibited. If the main lot is full, shuttles will run from White Oak Baptist Church and Young Scholars Academy.

• Teams: Compete for the "Biggest Team" trophy and office bragging rights!

• Awards: Gift cards to Fleet Feet will be awarded to the fastest male and female in each age bracket.

• Pets & Strollers: Leashed pets and strollers are more than welcome!
