Host an Eastern Region PWOC Meeting

Locations are needed for future meetings of the Eastern Professional Wastewater Operators Committee Meeting & Plant Tour.

Organizers would like to visit different plants and want to avoid sites they have visited within the past three years. A list of past meeting locations is included below, and a map of the regions is available online at http://www.ncsafewater.org/group/PWWOCmte.

Hosting a PWOC meeting requires a room that will hold 50 people for a continuing education presentation, and leading a tour of the facility. PWOC committee members can assist with securing a lunch and the presentation speaker. If you don’t want to host, please nominate a facility that you would like to visit and a PWOC representative will contact the facility.

One of the four facilities we visit each year is eligible for the “WWTP Operations & Maintenance Excellence Award” given at the NC AWWA-WEA Annual Conference in November.
