Course Description:

Level 1, Journeyman I

Collection/Distribution Ladder

Customer Service 2 (2.0 hours)
Customer Service skills reflect on the individual employee as well as the organization represented by that employee. The nature of the interactions between Utility employees and their customers defines the success or failure of the job-related interaction and the perception of the Utility by that customer. Customer Service skills can be learned and improved. This course is designed to highlight important skills and suggest techniques for interacting with customers. Skills will be enhanced through role-play exercises and open discussions. The class is designed to present real-life situations and work through them to optimize the outcomes.

• WATER TREATMENT FACILITY OPERATORS, DISTRIBUTION OPERATORS, CROSS CONNECTION/BACKFLOW OPERATORS: This course is approved for 2.0 contact
hours by the NCWTFOCB. Course ID: 176276
