Purpose:

• The Maintenance Technologist renewal process ensures that licensed MTs continually update their professional knowledge and technical competency to stay abreast of industry changes and challenges.  All licensed Maintenance Technologists must renew annually (calendar) in order for license to remain active.  Requirements for renewals are as follows:
• Complete six (6) hours of continuing education of a water and/or wastewater course approved by the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
• Provide documented proof of course completion
• Pay associated fee
