Backflow Prevention Class             

September 28^th – October 2^nd 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Eden Fire Station 400 located at 135 E Stadium Drive

Purpose:

Students need to bring several small screwdrivers, a calculator, and should dress for a wet lab environment. Class space is limited to 9 attendees.

Continuing Education:

Wastewater Operators: This seminar is approved by the WPCSOCC for 25.0 contact hours for continuing education. Must be present for 80% of the class to receive certificate of attendance. Course ID: CE11160012

Water Treatment Facility Operators, Distribution Operators, Cross Connection/Backflow Operators: This seminar is approved for 25.0 contact hours for continuing education by the NCWTFOCB. Must be present for 80% of class to receive certificate of attendance. Course ID: 091346

Students who attend at least 80% of the class and DO NOT pass the practical exam are not eligible to take the state certification exam, but will receive a letter indicating the number of contact hours earned.
