Eastern Physical/Chemical Wastewater School

Purpose:

These courses are designed to provide the individual with a general knowledge of the operation of wastewater treatment systems. The courses will provide the individual with knowledge of the laws and regulations related to wastewater treatment systems operation, and equipment usually employed in such plants, and the ability to describe the general operation requirements for such plants. This course is designed to assist the individual in preparation for the North Carolina Water Pollution Control System Operators Certification Commission Examination.

Continuing Education and Tentative Schedule:

Physical/Chemical - Grade I
- Wastewater Operators: This seminar is approved by the WPCSOCC for for continuing education. Must be present for entire class to receive certificate of attendance. WPCSOCC Course ID: BE06210401
- Tentative Schedule
  - Tuesday: Registration 7:30 a.m., Class 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  - Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  - Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Lunch not included.)
Physical/Chemical - Grade II
- Wastewater Operators: This seminar is approved by the WPCSOCC for for continuing education. Must be present for entire class to receive certificate of attendance. BE03110401 (Grade I & II). WPCSOCC Course ID: BE01190501 (Grade II ONLY),
