Basic Confined Space Entry Operation Seminar
September 13, 2021, 8 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Carteret Community College Morehead City, NC Topics:
Participants will be able to plan, develop, and safely employ confined space entry measures in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.146.
- Define the terms and general requirements of Confined Space Operations in accordance with OSHA
- Identify the hazards related to the entry of permitted confined spaces
- Defined the duties and responsibilities of critical personnel involved in confined space operations
- Understand the proper inspection, care and employment of related confined space equipment
Contact Hours:
- Water Treatment Facility Operators, Distribution Operators, Cross Connection/Backflow Operators: This training is approved for 6.0 contact hours for continuing education by the NCWTFOCB. Course ID: TBD.
- PE: Approved for 6.0 contact hours.
- Maintenance Tech: Approved for 6.0 contact hours.
