Registration opens September 1

WWLA Exam will be administered via CBT. The exam window will be October 1-November 30.

Due to the unprecedented times brought on by the pandemic, state orders and CDC guideline, the Wastewater Laboratory Analyst Exam will not be administered in person as is typically done. Nevertheless, after an exhaustive review and diligent comparison of available options, we are excited to offer a safe and convenient way for each of you to sit for your respective WWLA Class exams. We have partnered with our exam administrator ABC; and through their partnership with PSI, a national testing and assessment firm, exams will be administered via computer-based testing or CBT. This simply means the exam you would typically take in-person will now be taken via a computer in one of the multiple PSI  
testing locations or third-party facilities in North Carolina. With the CT option, examinees will receive the following benefits: 

• Flexibility – Schedule your exam at a time and testing location convenient for you. 
• Faster Score Report – Receive your scores and score report instantly upon completion of the exam. 
  
• Immediate ROI that can be used to justify promotions and career advancement 

We sincerely believe this was the best course of action to deliver the exams. However, due to the cost of exam implementation and delivery, the registration fee will be $135.00 for all candidates. We understand and empathize that, if not all, many of our members’ budgets have been adversely impacted by the pandemic. But again, we assure you that we did our due diligence in identifying this option to be the absolute best and economical given the circumstances.

You may also mail payments to our office at 4801 Glenwood Ave, Suite 200, #11, Raleigh, NC 27612. 
 
However, understand that mailed forms may be processed more slowly due to staff working remotely. Your exam application will be reviewed for approval per usual. Once approved, the exam application will be processed for payment and your candidate information will be forwarded to the exam third party exam administrator. The exam administrator will notify you via email or phone with instructions on how to schedule your exam.
