Purpose:

These courses are designed to provide the individual with a general knowledge of the operation of wastewater treatment systems. The courses will provide the individual with knowledge of the laws and regulations related to wastewater treatment systems operation, and equipment usually employed in such plants, and the ability to describe the general operation requirements for such plants. This course is designed to assist the individual in preparation for the NCWPCOSS examination.

Continuing Education:

• WASTEWATER OPERATORS: This course is approved by the NC WPCSOCC for contact hours. Course IDs:

• PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS: This course is approved for PDH’s.
• MAINTENANCE TECHNOLOGIST: This course is approved for contact hours.
