Piedmont Region G.R.O.W Plant Tour!
T.Z. Osborne Water Reclamation Facility, 2350 Huffine Mill Road, McLeansville, NC May 11, 2-3 p.m.
Attendees will be provided with a facility tour led by City of Greensboro staff. T.Z. Osborne WRF is a 56 MGD, BNR facility. Features include 2 fluidized bed incinerators, 6 cloth media tertiary filters, and 6 contact chambers. Disinfection is achieved using 15% sodium hypochlorite. Hard hats, safety shoes, safety glasses required. Hard hats and glasses can be provided, if needed. Free event, but must register by 5/3. Spaces are limited!
