The Town of Wallace WWTP is a 5.42 MGD facility, designed by Aqua-Aerobic Systems that treats waste using three Sequencing Batch Reactors.  They are currently averaging about 1.3 MGD.  In addition to the SBRs, their headworks contains an automatic spiral bar screen, grit removal, and four VFD influent pumps.  After treatment through the SBRs, a post-equalization basin is utilized to control flow into disk filters, and then UV disinfected prior to discharge into Little Rockfish Creek, a tributary of the Cape Fear River.
