Charlotte Region G.R.O.W- Kayaking with the Catawba Riverkeepers 

September 14, 2023 - 6-8 p.m.

Please join us for a guided kayaking trip along the South Fork River! We will have an easy paddle upstream for a mile to the rocky shoals and then float back down to the launch. All participant's will receive a sit-on-top kayak, paddle and life vest.

What is Provided:

• Kayak equipment and dry bags
• Riverkeeper staff to host skill clinic and guided tour
• Bathrooms and water to refill water bottles inside The Boathouse

What to Bring/Wear:

• Appropriate clothing layers to be on the water. You will get wet.
• Shoes with a heal strap. NO FLIP FLOPS.
• Water bottle
• Sunglasses or hat
• Change of clothes and towel (optional)
• Snacks

Restrictions:

Must be 18 years of age to purchase tickets. 

Must be 4 years of age to ride in a tandem kayak with an adult.

Must be 8 years of age to ride in a single kayak with an adult in another kayak. 

Advanced registration is required.
