Basic Confined Space Entry Operations Class
Town of Holly Springs, Holly Springs, NC January 17 and 18, 2023, 8 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (Lunch included) EVENT FOR TOWN OF HOLLY SPRINGS EMPLOYEES ONLY
Description:
- Participants will be able to plan, develop, and safely employ confined space entry measures in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.146.
- Define the terms and general requirements of Confined Space Operations in accordance with OSHA
- Identify the hazards related to the entry of permitted confined spaces
- Defined the duties and responsibilities of critical personnel involved in confined space operations
- Understand the proper inspection, care and employment of related confined space equipment

- Water Treatment Facility Operators, Distribution Operators, Cross Connection/Backflow Operators: This training is approved for 6.0 contact hours for continuing education by the NCWTFOCB. Course ID: 208676.
- Wastewater Operators: This seminar is approved by the WPCSOCC for 6.0 contact hours for continuing education Must be present for entire class to receive certificate of attendance. Course ID: CE02221902
- PE: Approved for 6.0 contact hours.
