Course Description:

 "AI in Project Management" This session will explore the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into project management practices, highlighting its growing role in enhancing efficiency and decision-making. The key topics to be covered include: 1. Why Use AI in Project Management The session will begin by addressing the key benefits of utilizing AI in project management, including improved planning, resource allocation, and risk management. A case study on Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) demonstrates how AI helped optimize project timelines and resources, ultimately leading to enhanced operational efficiency. 2. Use of AI in Utility Management The second segment will focus on the application of AI in utility management. Two notable case studies will be presented: o City of Houston, where AI-driven solutions were implemented to improve the city’s infrastructure management and service delivery. o City of Wilmington, DE, which adopted AI to streamline energy usage and optimize public utilities. 3. Questions and Responses The session will conclude with a Q&A session.
