We will be touring both the Water Filtration Plant (21 MGD Capacity) and Wastewater Treatment Plant (13.5 MGD Capacity). Participants will see the process from start to finish of how drinking water is made, and how wastewater is treated. You will see the beginning stages of a basin at the wastewater plant being converted to diffused air, and a chemical reaction Digestion system. At the water plant you will see the laboratory where all the analytical testing takes place, SCADA system that controls plant operations, and a walkthrough from where the source water enters the plant to the final product that goes out to the customers.
