The Model Water Tower Competition is for elementary and middle school students.  Each individual or team of up to four students will design and build a functioning model water tower that is structurally efficient, holds water, and that can be filled and drained quickly, while also being aesthetically pleasing.  The towers are judged based upon hydraulic efficiency, cost efficiency, structural efficiency and design ingenuity.  The first, second and third place teams in each division will be awarded cash prizes and trophies. There is no cost to enter.

Prizes!!!  First place $300, Second place $200, and  Third place $100 will be awarded at both the Raleigh and Charlotte competitions.
