Hoke County
The next meeting of the Eastern Professional Wastewater Operators Committee will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016. This meeting will be hosted by Hoke County. It will begin with lunch at the Western Sizzlin Steak House followed by a tour of the WWTP led by Donovan Dennis, ORC, and staff. (WWTP is about 15 min from the restaurant.)
11:30 –12:30 PM Lunch and presentation at the Western Sizzlin Steak House. The presentation will be on the newly constructed Hoke County WWTP and the Intermittent Cycle Extended Aeration (ICEAS) process. The presentation and lunch will be provided by LKC Engineering, PLLC. Mr. Adam Kiker will be the presenter.

12:30 PM –2:00 PM Plant tours at Hoke County’s Wastewater Treatment Plant. The County operates a 1.5 MGD ICEAS Treatment facility. The Intermittent Cycle Extended Aeration (ICEAS) process is an advance sequencing batch reactor (SBR) technology.
