The NC AWWA-WEA G.R.O.W Committee cordially invites you to attend our next GROW event in Raleigh, North Carolina.  This GROW
event will be held at the City of Raleigh Public Utility Field Operation Facility March 16, 2017 from 11:30am-1:00pm. The program will feature approximately 30 minutes of networking time with a 1 hour presentation entitled "Moving from Conflict to CANflict". 

Our presenters, Karen Ray and Susan Decker, both work for the City of Raleigh Public Utilities Department. As employees of the Public Utilities Department their projects have allowed them the opportunity to work and interact with many different groups, including government employees, consultants, and the general public. Each of these groups work together to achieve a greater good and provide what is best for all of us. At times there are circumstances when we do not agree. Some may call this scenario a conflict, however, this presentation is going to discuss how we can look at this scenario more so as a CANflict.

What is a CANflict? How do we address a CANflict? When do we address a CANflict? Where do we address the CANflict? Why do we need to have a CANflict?
