The Town of Williamston collection system consists of approximately sixty-one miles of primarily gravity flow sewer mains, twelve pumping stations and associated service laterals. This system conveys untreated wastewater to a 2.0 MGD activated sludge wastewater treatment system designed to remove some eighty-five percent of pollutants by means of biological treatment. Treated effluent is discharged from this point into the Roanoke River.
The presentation will be by Mr. Greg Churchill, P.E. of Rivers & Associates, Inc. They provide engineering support for the Town of Williamston’s collection system and treatment plant.
DON’T miss an opportunity to network, learn, and assist other operators.
Operators who have certifications issued by the WPCSOCC will receive 2 contact hours toward their continuing education requirement if they attend both the technical session and the plant tour.
If you have any questions please contact Jimmy Pridgen at (252) 205-2519 or jpridgen@wilsonnc.org.
