The purpose of this initiative is to inspire young professionals, 35 years of age or younger, and students to engage with NC One Water and to actively participate in its mission. By attracting these individuals to become members, the organization aims to foster their interest and passion for the water and wastewater industry. A key focus is raising awareness within the YP and student communities about the opportunities and value that NC One Water offers while also educating existing Association members about the unique contributions of these groups.

This effort seeks to provide meaningful and ongoing opportunities for students and young professionals to connect, build relationships, and grow together in their careers. It also supports the establishment and sustainability of student chapters at local universities and encourages greater student involvement within the organization. Finally, it ensures a seamless transition for students into roles as young professionals, promoting their career growth and long-term engagement in the industry.

Participant Cost & What’s Included *Minimum charge is $15 per person for networking events. For events including CEUs, the cost will be determined by NC1W staff.
